GM stands for gimme money at the moment! They keep saying that they will go broke in a few weeks but i have a feeling that both gm and chrysler will survive till at least Jan 30. Why do i say that because history says it will. The same thing happened in 1980 with Chrysler before Lee Iacocca came in and reinvented that brand. Chrysler ran out of money 2 weeks before they were thrown a lifeline. And with the way the current economic climate is everyone who has their lively hood in the auto sector is trying to help keep that fragile balance in play becuase if one person takes out too much then everyone will suffer the dire consequences! What are they? They would be looking at around 500,000 to 1,000,000 million jobs lost across the enire industry with 250,000 lost from plant closures and the rest from all the auxiillary buisnesses that feed the auto sector.
