An as yet unidentified female was travelling down spadina and was about to cross the dedicated streetcar lane; When from what i learned she tripped and at just that same moment a streetcar was approaching the driver doing everything he could manages to stop this 75 ton vehicle, but by this time she gets caught up underneath it. Police, Fire and Medics arrive within minutes of this horrific accident. And as she was wisked away as fast as the ambulance could go; I learned that she was still alive after being extracated from under the massive vehicle.
